Captain Phillip Wilds was born and raised along the white sands of Panama City Beach, FL. Phillip was born into a family lineage of both commercial and charter fishermen dating back to the 1940’s. It would turn out to be Phillip’s calling to pursue this great family tradition, “It’s just in my blood” as Phil would say. Since 1999, Capt. Phil’s sport fishing career has taken him to every corner of the state, from Destin to the Glades and beyond. As a full time career guide with Anchored Charters Guide Service, Capt. Phil specializes in fly and light tackle fishing both inshore and offshore but still enjoys the family tradition of bottom fishing and offshore trolling. Phillip is a devoted Christian, husband, and proud father to a family of six. In his spare time Phil enjoys photography, video editing, duck hunting and pretty near anything else related to boating and the outdoors.
